Well its been about three months I have been working out in Five Points, CA and I am just about to complete my solar panel field. Its been hot and dusty but well worth the experience. This first picture was about one month into the project. Our crew just started to get into the rhythm but it still seemed like we had a way to go.

Two months later it’s already came to and end. This is just a 15 mega watt solar field and our company might soon be getting a 120 mega watt field next year. I could only imagine the man power and sheer size of a project that magnitude.

Shinzen Japanese Garden

Located inside Woodward Park the Shinzen Japanese garden was the last thing I would expect to see in the middle of Fresno. So far my experience of Fresno has been hot, dry with little rain . One weekend while I was bored I went over to Woodward Park to check out the garden. As you can see by the picture its a beautiful place.

In the garden there are several water features and bridges to walk across. It was very easy to take a beautiful picture with all of the beautiful landscape and water ways. I would love to take my camera here during the fall to capture the beautiful fall colors.

California Renewable Energy

For the past few months I have been working out in California on a 15 mega watt solar field. Its been hot, dusty, and hard work. We are scheduled to finish at the end of September so I will be posting new pictures in the next few weeks as we wrap up the project. Its been an experience from learning a different side of construction to being in a completely different state away from family and friends. This picture is just from a normal point and shoot and I plan on uploading a couple of SLR images on Monday.

A beautiful sunset out by the Fresno airport watching small planes takeoff and land was a perfect way to end the day.
